A New Heaven And A New Earth (MA49)

Rev 21:1  Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

After the completion of His dealings with the Israelites and at the end of the Millennium Rule of Jesus, Satan having been released will gather all mankind to rebel against the resurrected saints ruling in Jerusalem.

Rev 20:10  The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Satan will be defeated and then cast into the eternal Lake of fire, which was created just before the Millennium Rule of Jesus.

Rev 20:11-12  Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Then our Lord Jesus will sit on the Great White Throne to make His final judgment on the rest of mankind.

Rev 20:13-14  The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

All those in Hades and also those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be thrown into the Lake of fire.

Rev 21:9-11  Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

God will then create the eternal new Heaven and the new Earth with the New Jerusalem. Then the New Jerusalem housing God, the bride of the Lamb (resurrected at Rapture), His Priesthood (1st resurrection and all other saints) and the angelic host will descend from the new Heaven down to the new Earth.

Rev1:22-23  But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

Rev 21:24-26  And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

All those saved, whose names are found in the Book of Life will inherit the new Earth and their kings will bring into the new Jerusalem their offerings of glory and honour.

Rev 21:27  But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

For the first time, God can rest from His work in peace and joy dwelling amongst the glorious bride of the Lamb, His Royal priesthood and His faithful people who were cleansed by the blood of the Lamb for the rebellious Satan and his fallen angel are imprisoned in the lake of fire.
