Great Tribulation Mystery (MA25)

Where are we now in Mat 24? - 4th. Seal (Rev 6:7-8)

Beginning of Sorrows (Mat 24:4-8)

Mat 24:6  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Brethren we are here at this point of time, where rumours of wars are rampant but they must come to pass. As soon as Israel/Egypt attack Persia (Iran, Iraq or Syria), then horrible WW3, as though it is the end of the world (end is not yet) will begin.

Following events are after WW3 - 5th. Seal (Rev 6:9-11)

1. Period of Sorrows (Mat 24:9-14)

Mat 24:9  “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

2. Great Tribulation (Mat 24:15-28)

Mat 24:21-22  For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

This great Tribulation will last only a few weeks (obviously not 7 years) otherwise no one will be saved. The biggest mistake is that almost every theologian assume that this Great Tribulation is the same as the 7th Seal with a total of 7 years of wraths.

6th. Seal (Rev 6:12-17)

1. Heavenly Blackout (Mat 24:29)

Mat 24:29  “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken._

2. The Rapture (Mat 30-31)

Mat 24:30-31  Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Salvation of mankind (Grace for the Gentiles) is complete at Rapture.

Rev 7:13-15  _Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them._

Immediately after Rapture, all those who were caught up at Rapture for overcoming the great Tribulation, will be before the throne and given white garments in heaven (Rev 7:8-17).

Rom 11:25-26a  For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved.

After Rapture, the remnants of the Israelites will all be saved (Rev 7:1-7) but the others (left behind) will have to face the wraths of the 7th Seal (Rev 8-9).

Followings are after Rapture

7th Seal (Rev 8)

1. Wrath of Satan for a period of 42 months (Rev 14)

1Cor 5:4-5  In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, *deliver such a one* (committed abomination) *to Satan for the destruction of the flesh*, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

God will only allow worldly, carnal and abominable Christians (those left behind) to be punished by Satan.

2. Wrath of God also for a period of 42 months (Rev 8-9)

Col 3:5-6  Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,

God's wrath is only upon the sons of disobedience and not upon godly Christians.

The 7th Seal is the 7 year wraths upon all those left behind (wicked, abominable, covetous, merciless, disobedient, etc.) and therefore is not the great Tribulation, which is in the 5th Seal.

1Thess 5:9-10  For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Brethren, God uses the great Tribulation to refine Christians in His preparation of the bride of the Lamb for Rapture.
