The king of
the South is Egypt and Israel. Egypt is a Sunni Muslim nation but a secular
state and will not tolerate extremism. The Islamic Brotherhood government was
recently removed by the military. It has volunteers or army fighting alongside
the Sunni rebels against Assad’s Shia government, which rules over more than
70% Sunni majority in Syria.
The king of
the North (the former Persian Empire) comprises Iran (leader), Iraq, Syria
and Lebanon.
There are 6
groups fighting one another in this area:
1. The Shia, which governs Iran, Iraq and Syria.
2. The Sunni, which is the majority in Syria and are rebelling against the ruling party in both Syria and Iraq.
3. ISIS the Sunni extremists, formed the Sunni Caliphate in Syria and Iraq and are fighting everyone.
4. The Kurds are protecting their own land from ISIS and are rebelling against the ruling powers for independence.
5. The West supports the Shia by disposing Saddam Hussein in Iraq, but in Syria they are supporting the rebelling Sunnis.

Since Hamas attacked Israel in 2023, many nations of the West (UK, France, Germany, Italy, etc.) sent their warships to the Red Sea, Gulf of Persia and the Arabian Sea to help the US maintain peace in the middle East and also prevent Iran from attacking Israel.

Since 28th February 2026, Israel and the US have been bombing Iran daily. It has completely destroyed the Iranian aerial defense and the navy. Supreme Iranian Leaders Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed and was finally buried on July 9.

After the death of Ayatollah Ali, his son Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei was elected the Supreme Leader in March. He is grieving not only over the complete destruction of Iran but he has to hide for his own safety in his own country from the bombs of US and Israel.
